EASTER

Easter is one of my most favorite times of the year.

Spring has sprung, the grass is green, the flowers have bloomed,

the air feels fresh, the birds are chirping, and summer is coming.

Wait, hold up.  None of that has happened this year.

Even though it's taking a bajillion+one years forever for the snow to melt,

I can see light at the end of this winter-from-hell tunnel!

Want to know why?

Here's why: I took the pooch for a walk around the neighborhood

today and on our way back, we noticed these bad boys growing:

Some flowering plant we haven't seen before is already growing along side out house!

We'll take it!

When I look out the window and see gray skies, I remind myself the m&ms

are always going to be here.  And the jolly rancher jelly beans.

Seriously, who doesn't love a mason jar filled with 

neon-colored Easter eggs?
