Irish I was more Irish

March 1st is now three days away,

which means we are about to welcome the

MONTH OF GREEN.

March is an exciting month [as long as 

the snow disappears and spring actually arrives

on time], as we welcome green grass,

green beer, and blooming trees and flowers!

March 1st also marks 17 days from St. Patty's Day,

a newly favorite holiday of mine.

I may or may not have 10% irish in me,

but I love celebrating anyways.

Last year we spent the weekend in Chicago,

taking in all the holiday had to offer:

green-dyed river, green beer, good food,

parades, and a boatload of people.

This year, we opted to have a Chicago get-a-way

weekend after St. Patty's Day to avoid the craziness.

In the meantime, I'll gaze at all the Pinterest goodies

and dream about dying everything green.
