Double Birthday Weekend

Last week marks my sister's birthday, and this upcoming week marks my birthday.

This past weekend (Memorial Day weekend) fell right in between our birthdays this year,

which meant for double-birthday weekend!

We are lucky to be able to go up north to my parent's garattage (definition: garage from the front, cottage from the back) every weekend in the summer.  The pictures don't do it justice for how relaxing, fun, quiet, loud, exciting, peaceful it is all at once.

Even the dog agrees it's an amazing way to spend a long weekend.

Days like Memorial Day we have to remember how lucky we are.  The freedom to have an great job with weekends off, and be able to go up north and relax all weekend long.
