tassel garland for under $5

I've been obsessing with the ever-so-popular tassel garland

that is popping up all over my favorite blogs and pinterest.

However, I can't seem to bring myself to order some off

Etsy for $30+ when I know all it's made of is tissue paper, and it's going to go

into the craft room that I barely use spare bedroom.

Then I came across this on pinterest:

The tutorial is great, and literally you can make this for less

than $5 because the tissue paper goes such a long way.

This tissue garland took me probably 3-4 hours to make, as cutting the tissue paper

and rolling them up does take time and patience (are we there yet?)

Finally, it's hung in the spare room that nobody will probably ever see it..

But it's cute, right?
